Our Beginnings

Our Beginnings

At I Knead It (IKI), our story began in Thuan Duong’s basement, driven by his profound love for healing. Inspired by our dedicated patrons, Thuan's vision expanded in March 2024 when he joined forces with a mental health specialist,  Elaine Woo. Together, they have cultivated a compassionate, nurturing environment focusing on holistic well-being. We aim to harmonize your body's interconnected systems through luxurious comfort. The evolution of IKI represents more than growth; it signifies a commitment to redefining holistic health care with you at the very center of our journey.

Thuan Duong, LMT, CLT

FOUNDER, LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST, & CERTIFIED LYMPHEDEMA THERAPIST

My practice focuses on holistic bodywork in consideration of its interconnected systems.

Only when in balance (homeostasis) can our body reach its full potential.

My training includes corrective exercise, breathwork coaching, instrument-assisted therapies, tui na, cupping, and orthopedic, sports, and lymphatic styles of massage, as well as Spinal Reflex Therapy, fascia-releasing techniques, dynamic stress, organ and vagus nerve manipulation, traditional Chinese medicine philosophy, acupuncture, and complete decongestive therapy.

I’ve helped clients with many conditions by viewing the signals as requests for help.

Elaine Woo

OWNER, CERTIFIED WELLNESS COACH

My coaching sessions focus on mind and body connection — to align lifestyle with your core beliefs and values. When you acknowledge and honor yourself, you can live a life where you feel peace and joy.

Some of my clients have underlying anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, eating disorder, attention deficit disorder, or trauma. To me, these are words in which we can begin to build understanding and unravel a way forward, but it does not define a person.

My coaching experience includes career, communication, emotional well-being, personal identity, physical fitness, relationships, spirituality, and work-life balance.
